Congratulation to Dr. Lynn Hillberg Jencks

Congratulation to Dr. Lynn Hillberg Jencks, who defended her dissertation, titled 'Bendecidos, Encendidos, y En Victoria': Transformative Theology Strategies amongst Latina/o Immigrant Charismatic Catholics in the United States. In addition to being the first book-length work on American Latino/a charismatic Catholics, the dissertation makes important contributions to theology, gender studies, and subaltern studies. Barbara J. Newman, Sarah McFarland Taylor, Timothy Matovina (Executive Director of the Institute for Latino Studies, Notre Dame) served on the dissertation committee chaired by Cristina Traina. Lynn will be an Academic Year Adjunct Lecturer in the Religious Studies Department at Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, CA.
